"Fire of Love" is a mesmerizing documentary that delves into the passionate and perilous lives of volcanologists Katia and Maurice Krafft, capturing their breathtaking journey of scientific discovery and enduring love amidst the world's most dangerous volcanoes.I got inspired by the silly actions Katia and Maurice Krafft engage in throughout the movie, which became the inspiration for the title sequence I animated. Watching Maurice cooking eggs on hot lava and seeing the couple's playful banter as they don their shiny silver suits to get close to eruptions showed me how their humor and adventurous spirits brought joy and a unique perspective to their daring scientific pursuits.
